Here’s how:
Importer and Exporter agree upon terms and documents required for the transaction via regular communication.
Importer uses TradeDoX 360 Pro to create L/C application and amendments with easy-to-use templates, eliminating the need to fill out and submit lengthy paper forms to bank.
Sends the print version of the L/C application generated by TradeDoX 360 Pro to Bank or electronically via email AND
sends the same data used to generate the L/C application in encrypted digital form to the exporting partner.
The Exporting partner imports the data into TradeDoX 360 Pro and generates ALL the documents required for the L/C and shipment using the Importer’s data only (the data used by the importer to open the L/C and the same data that the importer’s opening bank used to issue an L/C to the exporter) thereby eliminating ANY chance of ANY discrepancy!
This feature can be used in reverse too, whereby the Exporter and Importer mutually agree on the shipping documents and terms, etc. and the Exporter generates the L/C application for the Importer, who delivers it to his bank.
As the L/C application is electronically produced and data is shared between both parties to the transaction, the generated shipping documents will 100% match with the L/C requirements with NO errors or discrepancies thereby speeding up the payment and shipment process. Please note that data sent to partners is in encrypted digital form and cannot be opened, read or accessed by any application other than TradeDoX 360 Pro.
