Our commitment to privacy
Trade Development Network respects that you care how information about you is used and shared. Our commitment to safeguarding your right to privacy is one of the many reasons we are a trusted provider of logistics software.
This commitment includes controls on the protection and use of personal information within our organization, its systems and the web sites listed in this policy ("web sites"), as well as programs to educate employees to respect your privacy at all times.
Trade Development Network collects contact information (such as name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone numbers) as well as information about professional interests and responsibilities (such as job title, purchasing responsibilities, company information, and professional certification). We use such information for marketing purposes, including e-mail communications, to which recipients specifically agree to opt-in to receive such information. We may use e-mail delivery and marketing companies to send e-mails, and Web beacons and cookies may be used in such e-mails to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and how customers use our information. Recipients may unsubscribe at any time by e-mailing unsubscribe@tradev.net
Further specifics about the Trade Development Network Privacy Statement are detailed below. Frequently check this policy to keep abreast of any changes.
Trade Development Network -customer communications - In order to best serve our customers, we may send updates that contain important information about our products and services. We also may send new customers a welcome message and password verification for our password-protected Web sites and software. We also may communicate with a customer to provide requested services and for account-related issues via e-mail, phone, or regular mail. In addition to such service and product-essential messages, we offer our customers the option to receive information about our company, related products, services, and special deals. Recipients, however, can choose not to receive these communications.
Trade Development Network Web site -
For our internal purposes, we gather date, time, browser type, navigation history, and IP address of visitors to our Web site. We use this information for trend analysis and system administration, and to gather broad information about our user base. Our Web sites contain links to other sites.
Trade Development Network is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each Web site to which we may link that may collect personally identifiable information.
Survey participation -
From time to time we invite participation via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary, and recipients have a choice whether to disclose requested contact information (such as name and mailing address) and demographic information (such as ZIP code or job title). Such information is not shared with anyone.
Co-branded activities -
When we join with other parties to provide specific services and communications, recipients are, in effect, choosing to provide information to that third party as well. These third parties will use the information according to their own privacy policies, and we urge people to read those policies and be aware of the other company's privacy practices before disclosing information.
Security precautions -
We use reasonable precautions to protect information about our customers while it is stored on our servers or in transit to our vendors on our behalf. Servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Information transference -
We may transfer personally identifiable information to other companies which act as our agents in providing our product(s)/service(s), and which agree to use it only for that purpose and to keep the information secure and confidential. Also, subsidiary and affiliate companies; entities into which our company may be merged; or entities to which any of our assets, products, sites, or operations may be transferred will be able to use information we collect. We also will disclose information we maintain when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena or other legal obligation, in response to a law enforcement agency's request, or in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property. Courts of equity, such as U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, may also have the authority under certain circumstances to permit personal information to be shared or transferred to third parties without permission. We may share aggregate information, which is not personally identifiable, with others.
